Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over short and long distances, ensuring safe and timely deliveries. A few work schedules are available, but most runs start early….usually between 4 am and 7am. Currently we are looking for local drivers and drivers that can take an overnight run from time to time. (Local and Regional)
Flexibility – Most runs are Monday-Friday, but occasional weekend work may be available
Duties:
– Operate trucks to transport goods and materials over various routes
– Load and unload cargo. Must runs only require driver to get pallets to the back of the truck.
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
– Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
– Maintain accurate driving logs
– Communicate with dispatch as needed
– Handle paperwork such as delivery confirmations and receipts
Experience and Requirements:
– Proven experience in commercial driving. A minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience within the last 3 years is preferred
– Proficiency and licensing to operate manual transmission vehicles
– No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
-Must be able to back a tractor trailer into tight spaces when needed
-No Drug or Alcohol related violations on your MVR within the last 7 years
-No major accidents in the last 3 years, where you were ticketed and found to be at fault.
-Neat appearance and customer service skills are required.
